High performers are often the silent pillars of a team, but when they start reaching out to people outside the company, it’s a clear signal that something’s amiss.
Recently, I’ve seen an increase in high performers messaging me, discussing their frustrations around unrecognised efforts, limited growth, or lack of trust from leadership. These employees, who could be champions of your business, are feeling undervalued and unseen. As a coach, I’m a vault so I can’t disclose to anyone who has messaged, but they’ve been from both the public and private sector.
Why does this matter?
High performers keep operations smooth, foster innovation, and elevate overall morale. Yet, when they feel underappreciated, they're the first to seek other opportunities.
