Some of my clearest thinking happens away from boardrooms
Walking through the bush. Watching the seasons change. Noticing what grows, what falls away, what adapts, and what simply knows when it is time to be still.
My Bush Musings are short reflections, poems and fragments of philosophy inspired by Country, nature, leadership and life.
They are not lessons so much as observations. A way of noticing what the natural world has been showing us all along about growth, order, regeneration, belonging, patience, resilience and stewardship.
I share them as an invitation to slow down, look again, and perhaps see something differently.
“The first principle of Aboriginal law is that land is the source of the law. The second is that you are not alone; you are in a relationship with everything." Dr Mary Graham ( (Kombumerri & Wakka Wakka) Australia.
