For the Leader Carrying More Than They Show

I’ve spent many years working alongside leaders across business, community and Country. People who carry responsibility with care. People who hold space for others, often without much space to be held themselves.

Again and again, I see the same truth. Leadership isn’t heavy because leaders are doing it wrong. It’s heavy because they are doing it with heart.

This love letter was written as a pause.

A moment of recognition for the unseen weight leaders carry, and a reminder that leadership was never meant to be rushed, hardened, or done alone.

It’s not about fixing more, pushing harder, or becoming someone else entirely. It’s about returning to what grounds us. Presence. Stewardship. Humanity.

I believe we are standing at the edge of a new kind of leadership. One that honours rhythm over speed, depth over performance, and being over doing. This letter is an invitation into that way of leading.

This is an invitation to pause and remember what kind of leader you are choosing to become.

Not through effort or urgency, but through presence, care, and conscious choice.

End of Year Sanity Check

The end of the year has a way of amplifying everything leaders are already carrying. Deadlines stack up, expectations tighten, and many managers push themselves to hold it all together without stopping to check how they’re actually coping.

I created the End of Year Sanity Sheet for Managers and Leaders as a practical circuit-breaker. It’s designed to help you regulate your nervous system first, then cut through the noise to identify what truly matters, what can wait, and what doesn’t need to be done at all. From there, it supports clearer boundaries, lighter workloads, and more grounded conversations with your team.
